Trinity

LINEAGE: Exact Lineage Unknown — Thought to be Afghani × Skunk × Northern Lights
BREEDER: Unknown (NorCal Legacy Cut)
TYPE: Hybrid

Trinity—AKA Trinity Skunk came out of Northern California in the early ‘90s and passed from one head to the other – people just didn’t let her go. The lineage has never been nailed down, but the most common theory is a fusion of Afghani, Skunk, and Northern Lights. Structure is tight and manageable, with strong lateral branching, thick colas, and a respectable finish time. Terps are pungent but nuanced—piney citrus up front, deep earthy incense in the base, and every now and then, a funky slap of what old heads swear is the long-lost roadkill skunk. Those occasional skunky phenos have fueled a lot of forum speculation and only added to Trinity’s mystique. It’s not always there, but when it shows up, you’ll know. The high is its own brand of strange medicine—calm but awake, focused but uplifted, and just a little transcendent when the set and setting are right. You feel it behind the eyes almost immediately, with a creeping body buzz that stays mellow and meditative. For many, it’s the perfect functional high—deeply satisfying without tipping into sedation or scatterbrained chaos. Though rarely used in flashy breeding projects, Trinity has long been a quiet favorite for those who know what to do with her. She’s not loud in the modern sense—but she stays with you.
