Black Lime Reserve already carried that dark citrus oil and deep Kush weight. Pre’98 Bubba Kush never needed an introduction — coffee, chocolate earth, and that unmistakable narcotic drop. Black Lime Bubba is what happens when you stop trying to modernize things and instead decide to deepen them.
Katsu brought these two together deliberately. Not to make it louder. Not to make it prettier. To make it heavier.
From the first crack of the jar, you get the lime oil. Sharp. Bitter rind. Almost savory. Then it sinks into Bubba’s dark roast earth and hashy backbone. It smells like citrus peel thrown into hot soil. Not candy lime. Not sweet lime. Lime with weight behind it.
The high starts in the forehead — a steady, tightening presence that feels focused but grounded. No sprint. No scatter. Within minutes the Bubba side begins to show itself. Shoulders loosen. Spine softens. Eyelids lower. It’s not immediate couch-lock, but it leans that direction with intention. Appetite rises. Time slows. Conversation becomes optional.
This is evening smoke. Not because it’s chaotic — because it’s dense.
Structurally, Black Lime Bubba grows stout and compact with thick stems and broad leaves. Internodes are tight. Expect dense, weighty flowers that finish hard and greasy. Resin production is heavy and sticky rather than sandy. Cooler temps can pull subtle purple from both parents. Flower time runs roughly 8–9 weeks indoors, and she rewards patience with full terp expression.
Terpenes lean caryophyllene and myrcene forward with limonene cutting through as sharp rind. The lime sharpness rides over Bubba’s earthy base. Break a nug and the fuel undertone from the Reserve flickers through — but it never overwhelms the Kush core.
Black Lime Bubba doesn’t try to impress you with flash. It builds pressure slowly and keeps it there. It’s a jar you open at night when you’re done being productive.
Lime oil and coffee hash. Weight over sparkle.
