Black Lime Reserve carries dark citrus oil and chem-backed Kush depth. Original OG carries structure, fuel, and that unmistakable spine. Black Lime OG is the sharpening of both.
Where Black Lime Bubba sinks, Black Lime OG tightens.
Open the jar and the lime hits first — bitter zest, sharp rind oil — followed quickly by OG fuel and pine resin. It smells brighter than Bubba but more dangerous than standard OG. There’s tension in the nose. Citrus over gasoline. Forest floor under both.
The high moves faster than the Bubba cross. Onset is noticeable and direct — a clear cerebral lift that sharpens perception before settling into a grounded body weight. It’s not racy, but it carries more vertical energy than Black Lime Bubba. You feel upright before you feel heavy. As it progresses, OG gravity pulls it downward into shoulders and lower back. Higher doses tip toward sedation, but the first phase remains alert and focused.
This is strong smoke. Not flashy strong. Structural strong.
Growth mirrors classic OG architecture: moderate stretch early in flower, tightening into dense, spear-shaped tops. Internodes moderate. Strong apical dominance. Resin builds steadily and thickens late. Lime terps intensify during cure rather than fading. Flower time runs roughly 9 weeks indoors for full development.
Terpenes lean limonene and caryophyllene with pinene from the OG side. The citrus note is sharper than in the Bubba cross — more zest, less earth. Fuel rides underneath consistently.
Black Lime OG feels like someone took OG and sharpened the blade with citrus oil. It carries presence. It carries backbone. It doesn’t soften the edges.
This is lime with structure.
