Lemon Skunk x (Cheeba RKS x (’89 UK Cheese x Skunkbud #18)) 10 Regular Seeds
This is an Anonymous North Seed Collab
Lemon Skunk is DNA Genetics’ cross of two Skunk #1 phenotypes — the Las Vegas Lemon cut brought to Amsterdam by the Lemon Man in the late 1990s crossed with a Dutch Skunk male, the same mother Green House used for Super Lemon Haze. Bright, sharp lemon citrus over a classic skunk backbone, sativa-leaning structure, heavy yields, and a clear-headed energetic effect that made it a Cannabis Cup staple and a go-to breeding donor for breeders who wanted to add citrus complexity without losing the skunk foundation underneath.
The other parent brings three of the funkiest cuts in the skunk family’s history into a single donor. Cheeba RKS is Heime Cheeba’s decades-long Alaskan preservation of the Mendocino Roadkill Skunk — burnt rubber and dead animal that survived underground while more conspicuous genetics got abandoned. The ’89 UK Cheese is the Exodus clone that shocked British growers with its sour dairy character layered over classic skunk musk. Skunkbud #18 is Pagoda’s old-school skunk selection backing both of them structurally.
What makes this cross interesting is what the lemon does to the funk. Lemon Skunk’s bright citrus character doesn’t soften the roadkill and cheese — it sharpens them, adding an acidic top note that sits over the sulfuric and sour dairy depth from the other parent and creates a terpene profile that hits multiple registers simultaneously. Sharp, bright, funky, and deeply skunky all at once. Sativa-leaning structure from the Lemon Skunk side keeps plants vigorous and productive, resin output is strong throughout the pack, and the effect runs clear-headed and energetic early before the skunk genetics add body weight underneath.
Phenotypes will range from lemon-citrus dominant to funk-forward cheese and roadkill, with the most compelling expressions likely landing where the citrus and the foul meet in the middle.
